The NUTRIFEEDS consortium gathered at Kaunas University of Technology for its 2nd General Assembly, bringing partners together to review the progress achieved since the Kick-Off Meeting and coordinate the next stages of the project.   

Across two days, discussions covered advances in targeted fermentation, climate-adapted feeding systems, BSFL bioconversion, non-invasive livestock monitoring, feeding trials and the Nutritional Health Index. Partners also took an important step towards defining Regenerative Animal Nutrition, exploring its key principles and the role of livestock within regenerative systems. 

The meeting also advanced discussions around the European Centre for Regenerative Animal Nutrition (EC-RAN), including the creation of an internal working group and the first steps towards future stakeholder engagement.
